Artists wanted

Join the gallery as an artist member

We are looking for quality art by local artists to join our gallery. The jury committee accepts applications continuously.

Introduction

Created by artists, for artists

In June of 1996, the Jerome Artists' Cooperative Gallery, LLC was created by sixteen local artists for artists. Our artists all have a vested interest in having a successful operating gallery. Since then, the gallery has more than doubled in square footage and the membership averages around 35 local artists.

Jerome attracts tourists due to its rich mining history and beautiful scenic views of the Verde Valley. The Jerome Chamber of Commerce estimates that a million tourists come through Jerome annually from all over the world. The gallery receives high praise on the variety and quality of displayed art, which in turn creates repeat customers and referrals.

The jury process

How to apply

  1. Submit your application

Complete the online application and include 5 photographs of your artwork. The jury committee reviews new applications at its monthly meetings.

  2. Viewing appointment

If the committee wishes to see you in person, you will be notified by mail. Bring only 5 to 7 original pieces, and be ready to answer questions about pricing and inventory, and to ask your own about the gallery's operations.

  3. Written decision

You will receive written notification of whether you were approved or denied. The gallery manager then contacts approved members to set up a meeting about policies and procedures.
